Why is Sanshou so Fun to Watch?

When  I think of exciting martial arts to watch, Sanshou is up there with any of them.  Sanshou, also known as Sanda, is a Chinese form of kickboxing that adds elements of spinning kicks and high flying throws.

It’s great because you see a fusion of great athletes that focus on two things, kickboxing and throws.  Because of that, it’s one of the best sports to watch if you want to learn the most effective ways to close the distance for your takedowns.

Who is Cung Le?  Why does he matter?

Cung Le is easily one of the most recognizable San Shou fighters.  He was incredibely successful at San Shou (17-0), and he has now transferred those strikes and takedowns to MMA (7-1) to beat the likes of Frank Shamrock and Scott Smith.
