Knockouts and Submissions from UFC 126

by Eric Pearch on February 6, 2011

Anderson Silva brings accuracy to another level. Vitor doesn’t realize what hit him until after his head was snapping back. Watch how it comes in under the head and between Vitor’s guard.

I’m predicting that a lot more people are going to be practicing this.

Anderson Silva Front Kick

Jon Jones seems unstoppable. He told some people after words that he’s never even attempted a “power guillotine” like this.

Jon Jones tried a nice back take, but Bader stood up and out. This can work going onto the back or from north south to mount.

Jon Jones Back Take

Rocha pulls off a phenomenal turtle escape here. He get’s an americana grip and rolls Ellenberger right into sidemount.

Big Boat

Last, we have Cerrone finishing a rear naked choke with a great combination of ground and pound and grip fighting.

Overall, great night of fights with some solid technique displayed.

I’ve been staring at that turtle escape for three days.

It’s beautiful. I’m going to start drilling it regularly.
